Found a way to heal wounds without scars
First time scientists were able to transform cells that play a key role in the healing of wounds, in fat cells that leads to the formation of scars and for the regeneration of the skin, as in fish and amphibians.
The results of the study, an international group of scientists published in the journal Science.
It is known that scar tissue is completely absent hair follicles (hair roots) and fat cells in abundance in the rest of the skin, and the scars formed from myofibroblasts — cells, providing the contraction of wounds in connective tissue damage.
Experimenting on mice and human keloid (scar) tissue, scientists have found that the secret to skin regeneration after wound without scar formation is a regeneration of hair follicles.
