The court extended the house arrest of Kirill Serebrennikov
Also the producers of the Director will be under house arrest until April 19.

MOSCOW, January 16. /TASS/. Basmanny court of Moscow on January 16 extended to 19 April, the period of detention under house arrest of Director Kirill Serebrennikov, who is accused of stealing more than 130 million rubles, the correspondent of TASS.
“To satisfy the petition of the investigation and extend Serebrennikov a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest,” announced the judge.
For the same period extended the house arrest of the producer of ANO “the Seventh Studio” by Alexei Malopolska, as well as the arrest of the former General Director “the Seventh Studio” Yuri itina.
The defense asked to release Serebrennikov bail in the amount of 68 million rubles for Malopolska was offered 10 million rubles. The court considered the relief defendants to be unfounded.
After announcement of the decision of the court the defence the defendants stated that it will appeal.
What is charged with
It became known yesterday that the investigation on criminal case about the theft is completed. The case against the former accountant of the “Seventh Studio” Nina Massieu allocated in separate manufacture as it has entered into a plea deal, pleaded guilty and testified against other defendants in the case. In the final indictment the amount of damage was increased almost two times — from 68 million to 133 million.
Also in this case concluded under house arrest, the Director of the Russian academic youth theatre (RAMT) Sophia Apfelbaum, another defendant in the case — eks-the General producer “the Seventh Studio” Ekaterina Voronova, was arrested in absentia and declared in the international search.
According to investigators, in 2011, Serebrennikov developed a project for the development and promotion of contemporary art “Platform”, the financing of which in 2011-2014, the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation has allocated more than 214 million rubles. For the project Serebrennikov has created ANO “the Seventh Studio”, which attracted itina Yuri, Alexei Malopolska, Ekaterina Voronov, Nina Maslaev and others. Following instructions Serebrennikov itina, Malopolski, Voronov and Masliaev annually developed action plans in the framework of the project, which contained knowingly false and inflated information about their number and value, the result of which was the stolen money.
