Set of combat equipment “Warrior” for the airborne troops will be equipped with the latest in small arms
Moscow. 4 Jan. INTERFAX.RU — landing variant of “Warrior” has chosen new samples of small arms, has informed “Interfax” in the Department of information of the defense Ministry.
“Currently, the airborne troops re-equipped to a new set of combat equipment “Ratnik” includes, in addition to equipment and means of body armor, new samples of small arms, which significantly increases combat capabilities of a soldier, a paratrooper in the battle”, — reported in Department.
According to him, the new automatic small arms are superior to existing weapons samples in some parameters by 20%, and the new sniper weapon by 15%.
In addition, the device of rails sights included in the set of “Warrior”, will expand the capabilities of automatic and sniper weapons. New weapons will involve the installation of laser pointers, standardized optical, night and thermal imaging sights, added the Department.
