Yanukovych and his entourage confiscated another $180 million
Moscow. 27 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko announced the confiscation in early 2018, 5 billion UAH (about $180 million at current exchange rate) ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his entourage.
“We have a plan to specopssoft 5 billion. So at the beginning of next year we will hold this specefication, and I hope that this time the government will be more organized, and we will help them the beginning of a series of criminal proceedings for negligence by those who took the money and was not able to convey them to the people,” he said during an interview to Ukrainian TV channels shown on Tuesday evening.
Yu. Lutsenko noted that of the 22 billion spacefilling earlier funds, which were distributed in June, as of December 1 was only disbursed 5 billion. “This means, in legal terms, negligence of officials, who take money and can not master them. It just pisses me off” — he stressed.
The public Prosecutor intends to demand that next year all stolen by “organized criminal group of Yanukovych” funds reached Ukrainian citizens.
