TFR opened a criminal case over nonpayment of wages to employees “VIM-Avia”
The investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) opened a criminal case on the fact of non-payment of salaries to employees of airline “VIM-Avia”. “The investigative bodies of the Moscow interregional investigative management on transport of SKR brought criminal case on signs of the crime provided by part 2 of article 145.1 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (nonpayment of a salary)”, — stated in the message Department.
TFR also noted that the management of “VIM-Avia” deliberately didn’t pay the salaries of its employees. “Just as at 19 December 2017, wage arrears amounted to more than 490 million rubles,” — said in the TFR.
Earlier today, eight former employees of “VIM-Avia” went on a hunger strike at the airport “Domodedovo” in connection with non-payment of debts on wages by the management of the airline. Chief of police of the airport has helped them to make and send in the TFR statement about the theft of wages.
We will remind, the situation with the flight “VIM-Avia” has escalated on 23 September from-for debts of the company. Its total payables amounted to approximately RUB 10 billion, of which about 7 billion rubles— to the credit institutions, lessors, airports and fuel handling systems.
