“Dislike” Zvyagintsev made to fight for the “Oscar” in the main category
Academy of motion picture arts and Sciences has published the list of films admitted to the struggle for the “Oscar” in the main nomination — “Best film”. The full list can be found on the website of the organization.
The list includes 341 tape. Among them — the Russian picture “Dislike” directed by Andrei Zvyagintsev. Maryana Spivak, Alexey Rozin and Matvey Novikov, who performed the role in the film, will become contenders for the statuette in the category “Best actress” and “Best actor”.
The list also includes such films as “blade Runner 2049”, “Murder on the Orient Express”, “Dunkerque”, “ACCA” and “the Snowman”.
Nominees in all categories will be announced on 23 January 2018. The award ceremony will take place on 4 March.
Earlier in December it became known that the film Zvyagintsev entered the short-list “Oscar” in the category “Best foreign language film”.
