The investigation into the crash of Tu-154 near Sochi will be extended
The investigation of the crash of a military transport aircraft of Ministry of defense of Russia Tu-154 25 December 2016 will be extended. About it RIA Novosti said a source familiar with the situation.
“The consequence on criminal case about the crash of Tu-154 in the area of Sochi, excited 25 Dec 2016, it is planned to extend for another few months,” he said.
The source said that repeated extensions associated with the need to conduct further investigations and collect exhaustive evidence in a criminal case.
“It is possible that this is not the last extension of the investigation in connection with the fact that now is a complex examination, which terminate in a short time is not possible”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
In August it was reported that the term of investigation on criminal case about the crash of the Tu-154 will be extended to 25 December 2017. The extension of the period of investigation was associated with a significant amount of legal formalities, which include connected with registration of the fact of death of the passengers. It was not excluded that the investigation period will be extended again.
