“There are trade-offs in politics and in diplomacy, but not so principled that affect the mandate of the mission and the future of Donbass. The idea that someone will speak to those whom Russia has put into power in 2014 in the Donbass by fake elections, she’s a schizophrenic. There is no one there with whom you can talk,” he said.
According to klimkina, Kiev will not go to any steps, which can then be interpreted as an internal conflict in the Donbass.
On 14 December during a press conference the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that the question of the introduction of international peacekeepers Kyiv should discuss with the DNI and LC.
In September, Russia introduced a UN security Council resolution on placing in the Donbass international peacekeepers.
