In the Netherlands arrested a suspect in a knife attack
MOSCOW, 15 Dec — RIA Novosti. The Dutch police have arrested a suspect in a knife attack in Maastricht, the victims were two men.
“As a result of two incidents in Maastricht, two people were killed and three others injured. The suspect is detained,” wrote the local police in Twitter.
As militiamen noted, “there is no reason to believe that the incidents in Maastricht linked to terrorism”.
Earlier it was reported that two people were killed and several wounded in a series of attacks with a knife in Maastricht (province Limburg) in the South-East of the Netherlands. According to the newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, the wounded discovered a few hundred metres from the bodies of the two victims. Police can not yet confirm that the two incidents are linked.
