The authorities clarify the fate of the urn with the ashes of Hvorostovsky
Capsule with the ashes of Opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky is one of the medical institutions of Krasnoyarsk. On Wednesday, 13 December, said the radio station “Moscow speaking” the head of the press service of the Krai government Elena Olesheva, denied reports of missing ballot boxes.

“It is strange that such information appears (…). It [the urn] is not made public to access it at the urging of relatives. They want to wait for an official decision on how it will be immortalized in the memory of Dmitri Hvorostovsky,” explained Olesheva.
According to the head a press-services, until a final decision on the storage location of the ashes of the singer is not accepted. Ulasava stressed that close Hvorostovsky don’t want to make this a public event.
“They have a different mood. How can we go against the will of relatives?”, she said.
Earlier Wednesday, the Ngs portal.24 announced that the Krasnoyarsk officials leave answers to the questions of journalists about the whereabouts of the urn with the ashes of Opera singer.
Dmitri Hvorostovsky died at the age of 55 years in London on 22 November. He’s two and a half years of fighting brain cancer. According to the last will of the musician, his ashes divided into two parts — one urn was buried in Moscow on 28 November, the second on the following day was taken to his native Krasnoyarsk.
