You can endlessly explain to the student that the upcoming exams are very important to him, but it will not prevent him to treat the training lightly. Perhaps this behavior is due to a specific brain function of teenagers.

The team asked Teens 13 to 20 years to play a game, while the activity of brain scanning MRI machine. At different levels the participants were given the opportunity to win 20 cents for a correct answer, but for the wrong lose 10 cents. The higher the level, the greater the reward and greater the damage in case of defeat.
