The number of victims of the conflict in a colony № 5 in Samara has increased from 12 to 17 people, all of them were hospitalized, said the Agency “Interfax” on Saturday, the Commissioner for human rights in the Samara region Olga Galtsova.
“16 people are in hospital with the FSIN on the street athletic, one is in the ward of neurosurgery in the hospital. Pirogov with a head injury. His condition is assessed as moderate. It is in the mind. Undergoing tests,” said Galtsov.
She stressed that “today, all the prisoners went out for Breakfast, all in a regular mode”.
“At the place of work investigative team, taken enhanced security measures in order to avoid repetition of the conflict situation”, — said A. Galtsov.
As reported, on Friday, February 8, in the penal colony № 5 in Samara during dinner there was a conflict between prisoners from the squad that came for dinner and one of the convicts from the order of maintenance of the colony. The instigator began to insult the audience. Then the prisoners ran out into the street, broke the fence and ran into the room where he lives hozotryad. As a result of the conflict there, were set ablaze mattresses and blankets.
It was reported that, according to law enforcement bodies, the conflict has injured 15 people, the Ombudsman said about 12 victims. All of them were hospitalized.
On the scene working law enforcement officers, the Prosecutor’s office of Samara region and of the SU TFR in the Samara region started checking into the incident.
