Photo: telescope “Hubble” photographed losing gas the galaxy
The telescope “Hubble” captures the source of the gas from spiral galaxies D100. Space Agency NASA has published photos.
Space telescope Hubble took a picture of spiral galaxy D100 in the cluster of coma Berenices is rapidly losing gas needed to create new stars.
The cluster of coma Berenices is located about 320 million light years from Earth. It has more than thousands of galaxies, D100 is one of them.
It at high speed moves to the center of the cluster, leaving behind a trail of hydrogen and dust.
“This galaxy is especially striking example of the processes occurring in massive clusters when a galaxy is transformed from a healthy spiral galaxies into “red and dead”,” explains astrologer William Kramer.
Over time, the spiral galaxies will disappear and it will be only old stars, he says.
