A resident of Israel guy Shlomi together with friends traveled in Australia. While relaxing near the lake Bolak in Victoria he saw in the water a strange creature, resembling a newborn rat. He pulled the creature to the shore and carefully considered. It turned out that the foundling long flexible tail, tiny eyes and feet.

Experts quickly found. It turned out that the traveler found the larvae of hoverflies, also known as eristalis or rat (because of its resemblance to a rodent). By the way, it can be found not only in Australia but also in other continents, and even in Russia.
Experts said that the creature lives in stagnant water, and the tail is a breathing tube through which it breathes.
The larva is not harmful to humans, but to swim in the waters where she dwells, knowledgeable people do not recommend.
