The Norwegian Minister left his post for the sake of career of the spouse
Moscow. August 30. INTERFAX.RU — Minister of transport and communications of Norway Ketil Solvik-Olsen decided to leave his post in order to give the opportunity to build a career for his wife, reported on Thursday the European media.

“It was wonderful to take the post of Minister of transport and communications, and I would gladly would have continued to hold this position all his life. But now I have reached a point in life when it’s time, my wife was able to fulfill his dream,” he said.
According to him, together with his wife and two children moved to the US because his wife received a job offer at a major children’s hospital in the us state of Alabama.
“When there is such a fantastic opportunity, it is necessary to use it. She sacrificed herself for me, now it’s my turn to do the same for her,” added the Minister.
In social networks already actively responded to the Minister’s decision, calling it “deserving of respect” and a “fantastic example to other men.”
