The Louvre has launched a tour inspired clip Beyonce and Jay-Z

The tour will take place four times a week.

In late June, beyoncé and Jay-Z under the joint real name Carter (The Carters) recorded the song Apeshit, the video for which was filmed in the halls of the world famous Louvre Museum in Paris.

Clip instantly began to beat the record for hits, and fans even staged a dance flashmob in social networks, trying to replicate the chaotic movements of the singer.

During the download an error has occurred.

The great popularity of the video has raised interest to the Museum. They decided to take advantage of the situation and has developed a special half-hour guided tour of the Louvre “based on the video” in a six-minute video, which was shot in just one night, represented by 17 paintings and sculptures.

While the tour is available in French only, but, according to the representative of the Museum, will soon be translated into other popular languages.

Visitors will talk in detail about each work and its meaning in the clip will have to guess for yourself.

Note that in the video, Beyonce and Jay Z appear such famous masterpieces as the “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci, the Venus de Milo, “Portrait of a black woman,” Marie Hyemin Benoit, “Madonna with the green cushion” Andrea Solario, “Lamentation” Rosso Fiorentino “the Wreck of the raft of the Medusa” by Theodore Gericault, and many others.

By the way, this is not the first such experience of the management of the Louvre. In 2016, we have offered a tour of the clip, the rapper Will.i.am for the song “Smile Mona Lisa”.
