The German developers have taught a humanoid robot assistant TIAGo to find your own way to the refrigerator, open it and get me a beer.
Modular supercomputer NVIDIA Jetson TX2 that serves as the visual center of the robot, allowed him not only to effectively pave the way, but to find the requested beer brand on the label. The project is described in detail on the website ChallengeRocket.
In the autumn of last year, NVIDIA launched Jetson Developer Challenge — a competition for engineers, which proposes to use the development kit with a modular supercomputer NVIDIA Jetson TX2 to improve their projects. Among the prizes are a cash award, the NVIDIA TITAN Xp, training courses and a trip to a computer conference GTC in 2018, which will be held in Silicon valley in March of this year.
