In the state Duma introduced a draft law on life imprisonment for pedophiles
A bill establishing life sentences for pedophiles in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, follows from the database of the lower house of Parliament.
Earlier, Deputy speaker of the lower house of Parliament Irina Yarovaya stated that the bill establishing life sentences for pedophiles, will be submitted to the state Duma on Wednesday.
“This draft law introduces the possibility of the appointment of life imprisonment for committing crimes against sexual inviolability of the minor, entailing grave consequences”, — is spoken in the explanatory note to the project.
In addition, as noted, the draft law proposes to Supplement article 78 of the Criminal code provision on which the Statute of limitations not identified crimes against children will not expire at the time of the victim comes of age.
