In Belarus canceled “Tunitskii collection”
Moscow. 25 Jan. INTERFAX.RU President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed decree No. 1, which provides for the abolition of the “tunaytsha collection” with the unemployed, the press service of the head of state.
“The new decree does not include provisions on the payment of able-bodied unemployed tax for financing public expenditure. Persons previously recognized as payers of this fee, are exempted from paying it”, — noted in press service.
It stressed that the document provides “a conceptually different approach,” aimed at encouraging able-bodied unemployed citizens to take up legal employment.
Thus, from 1 January 2019 the unemployed will pay government-subsidized services for their full value. A specific list of such services will be determined by the government.

Also for the implementation of the decree, the government will adopt a number of decisions, which will, in particular, the procedure for the assignment of able-bodied citizens not engaged in the economy, the list of services provided to the citizens at full value, the order of calculation of payment for these services and other issues.
In addition, we continued to press-service, provides for the adoption of measures aimed at intensifying preventive work with the able-bodied unemployed citizens leading asocial way of life; activities of the tax authorities on the identification and taxation of hidden income.
The decree comes into force after its official publication.
