British intelligence has said it is ready to answer tough GRU

Russian intelligence agencies will have a hard answer, if you do not stop to conduct subversive activities against the West. This was stated by the head of the British intelligence service MI-6 Alex Younger at the Munich security conference, reports the Financial Times.

According to Younger, the GRU and other Russian intelligence services continue to pose a threat to Western countries, despite the efforts of great Britain and her allies.

“We gave them clearly to understand that, no matter how they tried openly and in secret to do harm to our democratic institutions and our alliances, it won’t work. (…) It will cost them too much,” said Younger. He added that we should not forget about the value of unions between European States.

Previously condemning Russia’s actions was made by the British defence Secretary Gavin Williamson. On 11 February, he stated that Russia is a threat to the entire world order, and NATO countries need to prepare for the response to the Russian provocations.
