Tourists in Spain warned about the fines on the beach (video)

On one of the Canary Islands was forbidden to draw in the sand.

Tourists who are going to visit the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, warned about the new rules of behavior on the beach.

Travelers were forbidden to draw in the sand and lay out the shapes of the stones. For violating the ban faces a fine of 600 euros. Besides it, tourists will have to pay for the restoration work.

So the local authorities are trying to save the sand dunes near Maspalomas, one of the main attractions of the Canary Islands.

Maspalomas is very popular among tourists from Northern Europe — Sweden, Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands. Often come here in the winter.

As reported, Russian Ambassador in Spain Yuri Korchagin, the year the number of tourists from Russia to Spain increased by 6.3%. This country in 2018 called for 1.2 million Russian tourists. The most popular Spanish destinations among Russians are the Canary Islands, Catalonia and Andalusia.
