An unusual timelapse: as of cells is born the body

When watching videos there is a danger to fall out of life for six minutes.

Dutch photographer and filmmaker, Jan van Ijken studying organisms under a microscope and removes this process, creating a truly mesmerizing video. One of his last works — a timelapse of the birth of the Alpine newt from a cage, which has received an award of the Austrian festival “Best short film”.

The video starts with the fertilization of the cell, demonstrates all the stages through which the embryo passes, and ends with the exit of the embryo from the shell. Amazing how such a process could fit into six minutes.
