Sanctions against Russia prevents the conclusion of a peace Treaty with Japan, said press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov on air of the program “Moscow. The Kremlin. Putin” on TV channel “Russia 1”.

Mr. Peskov reminded that in 2018 the Russian President took the initiative of signing a peace Treaty with Japan without any preconditions. “It did not find understanding among our Japanese colleagues, and so our approaches are different,” said Dmitry Peskov.
