Colombia is not going to provide the US base for the invasion of Venezuela

MOSCOW, January 26 — RIA Novosti. The Colombian government does not plan to provide U.S. military bases for the invasion of Venezuela, told RIA Novosti press-service of the Ministry of defence of Colombia.

“No,” replied the interlocutor on the question of whether Colombia intends to give the US a base for operations against Venezuela.

The opposition speaker of Parliament of Venezuela Juan Guido on Wednesday declared himself interim head of state. The United States declared its recognition. Maduro called himself constitutional President, and Guido — “a puppet of the US”.

Later, Maduro has asked American diplomats to leave the country within 72 hours. However, U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo refused to recognize this requirement. He refused to talk about the possibility of using force to protect American diplomats in Venezuela, but assured that the government will do everything to protect them.

The President of the United States Donald trump in August of 2017 said that Washington has a lot of solution for Venezuela, among them military operation.
