Moscow. 24 Jan. INTERFAX.RU — Russia warns US against military intervention in Venezuela, it would have led to disastrous consequences, said Russian Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

“We warn against this. We believe that it would be a catastrophic scenario that will shake the foundations of the model of development that we see in the Latin American region”, — said the Deputy Minister in an interview with the magazine “international life”, answering the question whether a U.S. military intervention in this country.
