The artist paints realistic portraits of celebrities using emojis

In today’s world artists have a place to turn. Anything now is art, whether it be mathematical formulas, nicely laid out with glass shards or Emoji. These familiar Internet icons uses in his work, American artist Yung Jake.

With different (and sometimes very unexpected) Emoji it creates amazingly realistic portraits of celebrities.

At first glance at his work can immediately see the excellent realistic portrait of a star, but on closer examination it appears that it is composed of emoticons, loaves, pigs, soccer balls and other unexpected pictures.

According to Jake, every symbol carries deep meaning, and with his work he wants to force people to think about the symbol of the Emoji language.

By the way, July 17, worldwide for the fourth time officially celebrated the Day Emoji.
