June 18, China celebrates one of the most colorful festivals called Duan.
Also called the dragon boat Festival. And this is no accident, because the main event in this day of competition boats.

The history of this festival starts in the III century BC, and traditionally it is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the lunar calendar. In 2018, the year it fell on Monday of 18 June but to celebrate it began Friday, the 15th.

In China this is the official long weekend and one of the most beloved and important holidays. Across the country competitions, dragon boat, show, light and laser show, performances and, of course, the traditional feast.
