More than a million people signed a petition against raising the retirement age
More than 1 million people signed a petition on the website Change.org with the requirement to cancel the increase in the retirement age, a draft of which was before the government submitted to the State Duma. Reference of the petition is 1.5 million signatures, after which it is planned to have President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and speaker of the state Duma and the Federation Council Vyacheslav Volodin and Valentina Matvienko.
The petitioners emphasize that the average life expectancy of men in 62 constituent entities of the Russian Federation is less than 65 years and in three regions is not up to 60 years.
“The pension Fund deficit arises from the fact that a large number of employment is in the “gray area” and their salaries do not pay the premiums, — stated in the text of the petition.— Management of the Fund, of the 77 million working population regular payments are received only 43.5 million workers. A shadow payroll is about 10 trillion. RUB. per year, resulting in a pension Fund receives 2.2 trillion. RUB”.
In addition to the website Change.org the petition with the requirement to refuse the increase in the retirement age also available on the website of the Russian public initiative. Currently the most numerous of them scored 47 thousand signatures.
