Putin met with XI Jinping, the settlement of the situation on the Korean Peninsula
MOSCOW, June 15. /TASS/ — the Chinese leader congratulated the President of Russia on the successful opening of the world Cup.
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with President of China XI Jinping.
“Touches on some topical issues on the international agenda, including the settlement of the situation on the Korean Peninsula,” — said the press service of the Kremlin.
The Russian President also thanked the Chinese leader for the hospitality extended during the recent state visit to China and summit of the Shanghai cooperation organization. “Both sides expressed satisfaction with the outcome of these activities”, — said in the Kremlin.
XI Jinping congratulated Vladimir Putin on the successful opening of the world Cup and wished good luck to the Russian team.
