As it became known “Kommersant”, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation summed up the results of struggle with the supply from abroad of counterfeit goods, and its implementation, including via the Internet. Just lately revealed 25 thousand of such cases, and, as it turned out, especially popular with suppliers of used fur coats — they seized several thousand. The damage from illegal activities, according to preliminary estimates, in the hundreds of millions of rubles. On the facts revealed in this area of violations filed more than 50 criminal cases
The Supervisory authority has summed up the results of work on execution of the orders of the President of the Russian Federation and decrees of the government from 2016 to curb the illicit circulation of light industry products.
As noted by the prosecutors, the situation with the supply of counterfeit goods is still disturbing: in the course of inspections over the past two years have identified nearly 25 thousand violations of the law.
In particular, it was stopped the supply from abroad of counterfeit consumer goods in airports and ports in Primorsky Krai, Novosibirsk and Samara regions. The special resonance was caused by the operation of the FSB, conducted in March of this year in Primorye. Security officers found that a local entrepreneur Rodion Tikhonov created a criminal organization, illegally carrying under the appearance of expensive building materials fur products.
In the case were also detained by the first Deputy chief of far East customs office FTS of major-General Sergei Fedorov, for taking bribes concealing this criminal business.
It should be noted that the coats are suppliers and sellers of counterfeit products very popular — their illegal delivery were also revealed in the Vladimir, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod oblasts, Stavropol Krai, St. Petersburg. The total number of seized fur products made during this time several thousand copies. On these facts was a criminal case under paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 171.1 of the criminal code (sale of goods without marking in especially large size).
On a large scale are imported and sold in Russia shoes, imitating the products of famous companies. Recently, for example, in the Novosibirsk region was suppressed the supply of the citizens of the PRC footwear with counterfeit logos of brands Adidas, Reebok, Nike, Lacoste. According to the results of operational activities was initiated a criminal case under part 3 of article 180 of the criminal code (unlawful use of means of individualization of goods by a group of persons on preliminary arrangement).
By results of public Prosecutor’s checks it was found that most of the products “of dubious origin” is implemented through the Internet such incidents have taken place in various regions of Russia.
Separately, the Supervisory Agency said that during inspections prosecutors are faced with numerous cases of unfair work law enforcement, customs and regulatory authorities to curb the illicit circulation of light industry products. Speech, in particular, Primorsky Krai, Kemerovo, Tyumen, Lipetsk, Kurgan regions and other regions. Overall, the results of checks by the Prosecutor to eliminate violations to the address of customs, law enforcement agencies, as well as “unfair participants of the market” has made more than 4 thousand views, brought to administrative and disciplinary action about 8 thousand persons, instituted 53 criminal cases.
