Died one of the founders of the Burning Man festival Larry Harvey
TASS, April 29. The founder of the American arts festival Burning Man (“Burning man”), artist and activist Larry Harvey died in San Francisco on Saturday. This was reported on the website of the festival.
“The Creator of our festival and our friend Larry Harvey died,” — said in a statement the team of the festival.
There’s also clarifies that Harvey, who was 70 years old, survived a massive stroke April 4, but was not able to fully recover.

The Burning Man festival, annually since 1986, is in the desert of black Rock in Nevada for eight days. It is dedicated to contemporary art and creative expression. At the end of the festival the organizers of the event traditionally burn a giant wooden human figure.
