The state Duma a draft law on the introduction of criminal liability for individuals on compliance with us sanctions on Russia, it may take until the end of the spring session, told reporters the first Deputy head of the faction “United Russia” Andrei Isayev.
MOSCOW, 24 APR — RIA Novosti. Earlier, the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin advocated the introduction of the responsibility, including criminal, against those who in their activities on the territory of Russia will be guided by anti-Russian decisions of foreign States.

The MP expressed confidence that the project will be adopted during the spring session.
He explained that criminal penalties may be provided for individuals only, and added that for legal entities is proposed to introduce fines.
“This topic is now being discussed,” — said Isayev.
At the same time, the MP stressed that the fines can be “high enough”.
“This (sanctions by the US), from our point of view, the criminal, therefore, no sanctions imposed by the U.S. Congress, the U.S. President will not act on the territory of the Russian Federation, under the Russian jurisdiction,” — said the Deputy.
Earlier, the heads of factions and the Chairman of the state Duma introduced in the lower house of Parliament a bill to sanctions the U.S. and other countries. The document gives the government the right by decision of the President to enter 16 different responses, including to prohibit or restrict the import of agricultural, alcohol and tobacco products, drugs from certain countries prohibit or restrict the export from Russia of rare earth metals, to suspend cooperation on the nuclear, aircraft, and rocket engines.
