For five years, the percentage who considers Russia’s space leader of the nationals has almost doubled

Moscow. April 12. INTERFAX.RU Almost two thirds of Russians (61%) believe the Russian leader in space exploration, and in 2013, this opinion was shared by only 35% of respondents reported “Interfax” in the “Levada-Center”.

One in seven believes that a “space leader” are the USA (13% vs. 31% in 2013). Another 4% believe that China (previously 9%), and 1% — the European Union (previously — 6%).

Difficult to answer 21% of respondents, 23-27 March among 1,600 people in 136 towns and cities in Russia.

Meanwhile, according to the survey, only a third of Russians know about the launch of the carrier rocket Falcon Heavy space: 2% watched the live stream, and 12% saw it on the news, of 25% heard something about it.

The greatest awareness about this event to show the residents of Moscow and respondents with higher education, sociologists note.
