MOSCOW, February 23. /TASS/. Russia is ready to coordinate in UN Security Council resolution on the humanitarian pause in Syria, but there is no guarantee that the militants will this truce be respected. This was stated on Friday, the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
He drew attention to the fact that the UN security Council now “trying to adopt a resolution recognizing declarative immediate onset of humanitarian pause of at least 30 days.” “When there is no answer to the question: where is the guarantee that the militants will respect the humanitarian pause that they will not continue to fire at residential areas of Damascus. Safeguards such we do not give” – said the Minister.
