The United States will seek extradition of Russians accused of meddling in elections

NEW YORK, February 16. /TASS/. Washington intends to seek extradition to the US of the Russians accused of attempts to influence American elections. This was stated on Friday at a press conference, Deputy U.S. attorney General Race, Rosenstein, broadcast on the website of the US Department of justice.

“There is no communication with the Russians on this issue”, — he said. “We will follow normal procedures, seeking cooperation and extradition,” he added, Rosenstein in charge of the investigation against the Russian Federation, which holds the office of spectracolor Robert Mueller.

Washington believes that the Russians are accused of attempts to influence American elections, tends to cause a distrust of the American political system.

He accused the Russians “carried out what they called information war against the United States with the aim to spread distrust against the candidates and the political system as a whole.”

Rosenstein in charge of the investigation in respect of the Russian Federation, which holds the office of spectracolor Robert Mueller.
