President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko ordered the General Prosecutor of the Republic task to deal with the current situation with domestic violence, according to Sputnik of Belarus.
The head of state holds meeting on issues of internal and external security, which reviewed a number of important issues, including on the crime situation in the Republic. Separately Lukashenka touched on the subject of children and the fact that they are often victims of domestic violence.
“Can’t allow some thug abused children in the family over a woman can’t. This should, Alexander, end,” — said Lukashenko, addressing to the Prosecutor General of Belarus Alyaksandr kanyuk.
The President said that the General Prosecutor’s office to solve this problem is to use any means necessary.

According to Sputnik, in the Republic there are nearly one hundred and fifty centres to support victims of violence. For five and a half years received more than 10.5 thousand calls: 94% women, 6% from men.
