Children older than ten years will be able to ride the trains without parents
Moscow. 16 Jan. INTERFAX.RU — Children older than ten years, the current year will be able to travel in trains without parents, said on Tuesday “the Russian newspaper” with reference to the General Director of JSC “Federal passenger company” (FPC) Peter Ivanov.
“To provide services to assist the child in preparing the way of the Federal passenger company (FPC, “daughter” RZD), has told, answering questions of the “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”, the head of the FPC, Peter Ivanov. Upon arrival at the destination station, the conductor will have to transfer the child to the authorized person”, — says the publication.
According to the newspaper, this service may be available this year. “We are studying the experience of other carriers to support”, — the newspaper quoted Ivanov.
Now parents can send their children for leisure or competition organized groups, and one child conductor on the train will not be allowed under any circumstances. But the aircraft transportation of a child with the support already available, and in this matter the railroad is inferior to air transport, the newspaper notes.
