Named the most expensive for foreigners city in the world
The city-state of Singapore again named the most expensive for foreigners metropolis of the world. On Monday, November 6, reports TASS with reference to extracts from the report of the analytical division of British magazine the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).
In the report to compare the cost of living was considered the price of 160 types of goods and services, particularly food, clothing, household goods, cosmetics, rent, transport costs, payment of schools and kindergartens.
The study authors note that in the top ten most expensive cities in the world appeared mostly Asian cities.
Singapore ranked first for the fourth consecutive year. Second place went to Hong Kong, the third from the Swiss Zurich completing the top five Japanese Tokyo and Osaka. The only Eurozone city in the list was Paris, who shared the tenth place with the capital of Denmark Copenhagen.
In Singapore, the most expensive clothes and cars, according to experts EIU. The cost of food there is comparable to the Chinese Shanghai. However, the price of the goods for the house and hygiene, as well as the staff services the city-state is a relatively cheap place to live.
25 Oct intelligence service Passport Index has released a ranking of the most travel-passports of different countries of the world. Evaluation criterion was the number of countries that were allowed to visit a citizen without a visa or permit to entry at the border. First place went to the passport of Singapore providing visa-free entry in 159 countries.
