The Council of the Eurasian economic community in Moscow to discuss the draft customs code
Photo: © RIA Novosti. Alexander Astafyev Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev will take part in session of the intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU) in Moscow. The meeting will be held with the participation of heads of governments of the EurAsEC member States (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan). It will be the eighth since the start of the Union in January 2015 and the fifth in 2016. The meeting will focus on finalizing the draft of the new customs code of the Eurasian economic Union to replace customs code of the customs Union in 2009. The signing of the document is planned at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian economic Council in December 2016.
