“After six months of investigation, I can without a doubt confirm that the scene, filmed in a hospital in the Duma, was staged. The victims in the hospital was not,” wrote the producer in his microblog on Twitter.
“The attack occurred, sarin was not used, but we have to wait for the findings of the OPCW to confirm whether they used chlorine. But everything else that is associated with the attack, was fabricated to enhance the effect,” wrote Galati.
Previously, the West accused the Damascus chemical attack on the Syrian city of Duma in Eastern ghouta, and threatened with military strikes.
