Looks like space “snowfall” on the surface of the comet

In a Network there was awesome animation made from photographs of the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko.

The European space Agency (ESA) from 2014 to 2016 with the station “Rosetta” studied the surface of comet 67P also known as Churyumov-Gerasimenko.

Despite the fact that the mission ended on 30 September 2016, scientists continue to explore the archives of photos transmitted by the spacecraft. But, perhaps some of these amazing shots would attract this much attention, if not curious Twitter user under the nickname landru79.

He took a few photos made by the “Rosetta” March 1, 2016, and turned them into an interesting animation showing mountains, stars of the constellations Canis major and “snowfall”.

In fact, it is certainly not snow, and space dust. But it looks really fascinating.
