Demonstrators in Yerevan have started to block building of government agencies

Moscow. April 17. INTERFAX.RU — opposition Supporters protesting in Yerevan against the appointment of ex-President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan to the post of Prime Minister, surrounded the building of the General Prosecutor’s office, foreign Ministry and state revenue Committee, said on Tuesday the correspondent of “Interfax”.

The actions of the activists led by leader of the opposition parliamentary faction “EFC”, Nikol Pashinian, said earlier “about the beginning of the nonviolent velvet revolution” in Armenia.

At the entrance to each building has 10-15 people, blocking the door.

Currently, the Armenian Parliament held a special meeting to discuss the issue of the election of Sargsyan to the post of Prime Minister. The Parliament building is surrounded by police officers.
