During the trial Ulyukayev him four times sent subpoenas, but the hearing, he was not referring to travel and testimony in writing.
Today the Minister was asked to allow his wife in as a public defender. “The court has received a request to allow Cravino as a public defender on appeal,” said the judge.

Alexei Ulyukayev was found guilty in December. The court sentenced him for taking bribes of $2 million from the head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin, which was transferred on the territory of the oil company on 14 November 2016. The bribe was received for a positive decision on privatization of “Bashneft”. About this in his testimony, said the head of the security service of “Rosneft” Oleg Feoktistov. According to him, the speaker hinted that a favorable decision on the future transaction with Bashneft depends on it.
According to the decision of the Zamoskvoretsky court, which became known on 15 December 2017, the conviction was eight years of strict regime colony and a fine of $ 130,4 million rubles is equivalent to the size of the bribe amount. Also for eight years after the release of the ex-Minister will not be able to occupy positions in the civil service. Ulyukayev was appointed to the minimum possible term under article 290 of the criminal code (part 6).
