Film Company Warner Bros. and production company, Amazon Studios are in talks about creating a series based on a trilogy by English writer JRR Tolkien’s “the Lord of the rings”, informs edition the Hollywood Reporter, citing sources.
Sources emphasize that the deal to create TV series is far from official. Currently, the negotiations have focused on the copyright of Tolkien’s works; the project has yet to be a potential screenwriter.
Representatives of Amazon Studios and Warner Bros. Television declined to comment.
