Hackers broke into the website of Ministry of Ukraine and demanded the cryptocurrency
Unknown hackers broke into the website of the Ministry of energy and coal industry of Ukraine. This is evidenced by the home page of the website.
Hackers have specified that all files have been encrypted and to decrypt them only with the help of their program.
As ransom hackers demand of 0.1 bitcoin ($920). Hackers gave to the Ministry ten hours to pay ransom.
The representative of the Ministry confirmed to Reuters that the site was subjected to hacking. According to her, the websites of state energy companies are operating normally.
In June, the virus had infected NotPetya many Ukrainian companies, including “Zaporozhyeoblenergo”, “Dniproenergo”, the Ukrainian mobile operators Kyivstar, LifeCell and “Ukrtelecom”, as well as Privat.
