Chinese artist and designer Lee zaofan (Li Xiaofang) uses fragments of ancient China (belonging to the dynasties of song, Ming and Qing) to create unusual dresses and suits. He very skillfully combines pieces that the outfits look like they were originally intact.

With his art safan pays homage to the past of China and “looks forward to its future.”

The artist’s work has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of art, and he has collaborated with such fashion giants as Dior and Alexander McQueen.
