France, the US and the UK had requested a meeting of the UN security Council on chemical weapons in Syria
As expected, the security Council meeting will be held on Monday.
Moscow. April 8. INTERFAX.RU — UK, France, USA, and a number of non-permanent members of the UN security Council had requested a Council meeting to discuss data about possible chemical attack in the Syrian city of Duma, according to “tweet” the British permanent mission.
“Britain, France, USA, Poland, Netherlands, Sweden, Kuwait, Peru and ivory coast have been asked to hold an emergency UN security Council meeting to discuss reports of the use of chemical weapons in Syria. It is expected that the meeting will be held on Monday”, — stated in the message.
Earlier, the opposition reported the possible chemical attack of Damascus in the Duma. Syrian authorities call this message a lie.
