A suspect in the poisoning of the employees of the plant in Taganrog was placed under house arrest
ROSTOV-ON-DON, 5 APR. /TASS/. The Taganrog city court has placed under house arrest for two months of a suspect in the poisoning of the employees of the aviation scientific-technical complex named after G. M. Beriev, reported on Thursday a press-service of the court.
On Wednesday, information about the arrest of a suspect in the poisoning was confirmed by TASS in the main Department of the MIA of Russia in the Rostov region. As reported, on the fact of poisoning was a criminal case under part 2 of article 112 of the criminal code (“Intentional infliction of medium-gravity harm to health”). According to a source in law enforcement bodies of the region, the suspect put thallium in drinking water.
“The Taganrog city court satisfied the petition of the investigator supported by the Prosecutor about election of a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest against the suspect on the case of thallium poisoning at JSC “Beriev. G. M. Beriev”. By results of consideration of the petition of the investigator supported by the Prosecutor, petition the court is satisfied, Shulga, Y. V., the suspect elected a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest for a period of 2 months, i.e. until 3 June 2018”, — stated in the message.
