The authorities of Ekaterinburg have decided to pay attention to the problems of blind people. From 2017, the mayor ordered local carriers to equip buses and bus signs with route information written in Braille. But as it turned out, not all transporters took this order seriously.
Residents of Yekaterinburg have shared on social networks a photograph of the signs in one of the buses on route No. 05. Instruction for the blind was printed on paper and pasted in a file.
So carriers decided to “extend the life” plate, but did not consider the fact that through the film the font for the blind to touch to read will not.
After outraged comments of residents, local officials promised to look into the situation and spend with the heads of the motor transportation enterprises explanatory conversation.
