Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin said that cooperation between Tehran and Moscow will help to isolate the United States. A message posted on the website Khamenei.
“We can reflect us sanctions and isolate the United States through the rejection of the dollar and replacing it with national currencies in bilateral and multilateral economic transactions,” said Khamenei.
Also, Iran’s leader called Putin a strong and responsible person. “That’s why we can cooperate with Russia in solving large problems that require the efforts of a great power”, — he added.
Putin on Wednesday arrived in Tehran in the framework of the official visit. The Russian President held meetings with Khamenei, President of Iran Hassan Rouhani and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
